Since 2009, Cookie Mabe and her sister Helen have been the owners and operators of The Gift Box. They put their heart and soul into their boutique and were blessed with wonderful success. Over the years, the business has expanded from room to room, and the overabundance of blessings required the women to add on some extra help. Cookie Gosnell Mabe, owner of The Gift Box was born in the great state of Tennessee and was raised in Orlando, FL. She returned to TN to get her degree in Education at ETSU. She met her husband, Clarence Mabe here in Tennessee and they have 2 boys and 3 grandchildren. She enjoys traveling, the beach, and time spent with family. Some of her favorite things in the shop are Sorrelli Antique Jewelry, inspirational word blocks, and the children’s area.
Amy Shannon Hollifield, Manager of The Gift Box was born in Cleveland, TN, and has lived in Johnson City all her life. She is married to David Hollifield and has 2 children. She enjoys the beach, cats, mission trips, and going to the movies. Some of her favorite things in the shop are jewelry, Tyler candles, and our assorted picture frames.
Linda Powell Davis was born in Springfield, MS and resides in Kingsport, TN. She is married to Don Davis and has 3 sons. She enjoys cruises, shopping, and being retired from teaching. Some of her favorite things in the shop are our different clocks, seasonal items, our World’s Softest socks, and all of our baby items.
Barbara Lowe Tucker was born in Johnson City, TN and now resides in Gray, TN. She is married to Jerry Tucker, has 1 son, 1 daughter and 6 grandchildren. She enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family. Some of her favorite things in the shop are Musee Bath balms, Nora Fleming collection, and Lilly Pulitzer.
Kelly Ann Smith is a native of Johnson City. She is married to Josh Smith and has 1 son. She enjoys long walks, hiking, gardening, and cheering on the TN Vols. Some of her favorite things in the shop are TN Vols collegiate items, Tyler candles, and the World's Softest Socks.
